After visiting the village of Castelmola, I will take a quick tour of the Madonna Della Rocca Church, a 15th Century Church that has been dug out of a mountain, located just below the Saracens Castle, also visitabile, from where you will enjoy an extraordinary bird's eye view of Taormina and the Ancient Theater.

Let's explore the pearl of the Ionian See together, the enchanting Taormina!

Delight in a bespoke journey through Taormina's most captivating attractions, from ancient ruins to charming streets and breathtaking views. Taormina is one of my favourite towns, where I spent my teenage years, walking up and down along the thin alleys that always lead somewhere.

Catania Private Tour
Half Day

Founded by the greeks, Catania is a city with a strong personality and has a very interesting history: after the terrible earthquake of 1693, it looks today as a very monumental late-baroque city, where the black colour of the lava stones predominates. Its inhabitants rebuilt their homes with strenght and determination and today it's a wonderful city. I would like to take you for a walk around Catania city centre, showing you its greatest attractions. During the walk, we’ll also visit less known places, which atmosphere will allow you to feel the real mood of the Mediterranean city. I’ll tell you about the history, architecture, legends and everyday life of Catania and its inhabitants.

We’ll start our tour of Catania from the heart of the city, Piazza Duomo: here we’ll visit the Cathedral of St. Agatha, the Patroness Saint of Catania and the city hall. We’ll pop in the Pescheria - the famous fish market - and then we’ll continue our walk along some side roads until Castello Ursino - the majestic medieval castle and some other hidden corners of the city. Then we’ll reach Via Crociferi, famous for its beautiful late-baroque churches, the monumental Benedectine Monastery, now a university building, via Etnea - the main street of the city - and Piazza Stesicoro, where we’ll see the ruins of a Roman amphitheater, one of the most significant monuments of the Roman era in Catania. At the end of the tour we’ll discover San Berillo District, a neighborhood that has been wounded, emptied, rebuilt, never completed and hidden from the great palaces of Corso Sicilia, in the heart of the historic center of Catania.

Etna North
Jeep Off Road

Full Day

Let's explore our amazing Lady Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe, in an off-road jeep tour!  What's better than visiting such an amazing place with a guide who grew up feelling the strength of the highest and most active volcano in Europe?
I was born at Linguaglossa, a little town at the bottom of Etna, on the northern slope of the Volcano. To locals like me, Etna is a friendly and moody lady, who sometimes destroys, but who then gives everything back! The northern slope of Etna is for sure the most authentic and most exclusive.
Unlike the southern side, a mass tourism destination, here there are no crowds at all. Even the Cold Play Band has been here, seducted by the magical atmosphere of the Sartorius Craters, hundred years old side craters. Here they filmed one of their most famous music video, "Violet Hill".Together we'll drive through a magical forest of pines, oaks and birches characterized by lava flows, that, at a lower altitude, turn into fertile soil of beautiful vineyards, olive grooves and pistachio trees.
A wine tasting lunch in a winery will end this unique tour.
